Volunteer

“Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Circles”

Have you toured memorable gardens and old historic homes on the Holiday House Tour?  Danced the night away in revolutionary spirit at the Patriots’ Ball?  If you look forward to participating in these popular traditions every year, enjoy these events for more than just a visit by helping make them possible with the Job Lane Farm Museum Tour Guide Committee.

Jeannette Pothier, the Tour Guide Committee Chair, invites you to join the Committee and get involved in our upcoming events! Volunteering for the Job Lane Farm Museum is an opportunity to make lifelong friends and make a difference in the Bedford community. Volunteers from across Greater Bedford and surrounding towns assist in fulfilling the Job Lane Farm Museum’s mission by sharing their special talents, including planning events, providing administrative support, and finding sponsors. Committee members work alongside each other, sharing their expertise in the various Museum departments and giving several hours of service annually. The Tour Guide Committee organizes events that are fresh and fun with an eye towards supporting a treasured institution.

We are always seeking new volunteers and whether you can join us for an hour, for a day, or to plan an event, any amount of time helps make these events a success. No experience necessary!
